  1. that frame looks pure BSA to me, from the shape of the seat stays, the plain lug pattern, right down to the serial number punched in the right-hand side of the seat lug.
    What is stamped under the bottom bracket? It may be NZ-assembled 'badge engineering' in the old days of import restrictions.

  2. Hi, The luggs are exactly the same as BSA's, however the Bottom bracket isn't BSA, just has MADE IN ENGLAND stamped. You right though, most early made bikes, locally anyway used BSA components and luggs. This is a bitsa! I love how the Speedy (Circa 1909) has the BSA components but then have had custom elipse cutouts made into fork luggs and headtube lugg. Jack Suckling was customing bikes back then!

  4. Hi Jorge, funny you should mention this, it's actually a lot darker than it appears in these images. It is based on a standard colour from Circle Cycles. If you look at a few pages on from this post you will see this bike in other images which depict a more accurate colour palette.
